Can the Aspen Mic work with the Zoom H6?

The AspenMic Lavalier Microphone can definitely work with the Zoom H6 but it requires plug-in power or mic power to function properly. Most recorders who have plug-in power available will not have it enabled so you would need to go into the settings to enable them.

For the Zoom H4n, after you have either of our HQ-S Stereo or HQ-M Mono lav plugged in, you need to click into the Menu Button located on the side of the recorder. Once in the menu, scroll down to Microphone icon or "Input/Output" settings. Once in the input settings, go to "Plugin" and make sure it is "On". You should now see the level on your Zoom H6 when speaking into or tapping the microphone.

Why are your lav microphones cheaper than other lavs?

In the world of big business, you have distributors that import products into different countries, which work with sales people that specialize in regions, who then hand the product over to retail chains for sale. This process often requires a certain percentage increase for each step in the process, often requiring up to a 90% increase in pricing.

At this time, we are still a small company that ships products directly from our USA warehouse with products only available through our online channels. At the moment we are able to offer pricing much lower than other microphones found in retail stores or with retail partners.

Unfortunately every business needs to expand, and as we begin to partner with retail stores our prices will have to be increased to support the new supply chain. So it's a great time to take advantage of our small business and our great pricing.
